Twisted - new single out on 12th August 2019!

Passionate. Bittersweet. Melancholy. Haunting. Just some of the words which have been used to describe Helen Jayne McKellar’s incredible new single ‘Twisted’ which we’re pleased to announce will be released on August 12th! Written by Helen, and expertly re-mastered by Pete Maher (U2, Katy Perry, Annie Lennox), this mid-tempo semi acoustic break-up song with its feisty vocals set against a backdrop of spiralling guitars is accompanied by a quirky new video, which you can find here.

Featuring Judie Tzuke and her daughter Bailey on backing vocals, Sam Tanner on keyboards, Richard Brook on drums and Pat Davey on Bass, ‘Twisted’ was produced by James Welch who also played guitars. It will be available from all the major digital music online retailers in August. You can read a review of it here.

2018 Debut single 'Last Minute' (radio edit) out now!

We're excited to announce the release of Helen's first single from her 2018 EP 'The Last Minute'.

'Last Minute (radio edit)' is a specially edited version of the title track of the EP and is available as a digital download from all the usual outlets (UK release 13th July 2018).

We also have a limited number of promotional CDs of the single for sale exclusively from this website! Helen is happy to sign them for you - just leave us a note when you order!

Helen's 2018 EP 'The Last Minute' is released!

Helen's new independent E.P., The Last Minute is finally complete!

Featuring six brand new recordings, this project kicked off late in 2017, being produced by James Welch at MasterLink Studios in Send, Surrey. The concept for it was conceived earlier that year, after Helen collaborated with Judie Tzuke, resulting in four songs, two of which are included on this E.P.

The recordings feature Helen's amazing vocals, supported by world class musicians in Sam Tanner (keyboards), Pat Davey (bass), Richard Brook (drums), Matt Racher (drum programming) and James Welch (guitars/keyboards). Supporting vocals were generously provided by Judie and her talented daughter Bailey Tzuke, and the E.P. also features a cover of Judie's "Ladies Night" complete with Judie's own new interpretation of verse 3!
