Can’t believe you got to me

The way you did

All the lies you spun to me

And all you hid

How your words played on my mind

Deep inside

I never dreamed you'd take me on this heartless ride

Now I’m broken, speechless,

helpless, frozen

 

You drew me in

You inhaled every breath from me

You put me down

Taking pleasure from the mess

You made me

Your love was cruel

I can’t believe you ever

cared about me

I’m running far as possible from you

 

I’m seeing clearly for the first time

In a while

Finding inner strength to live

Without your smile

Moving on with no one standing in my way

Now I’m fragile, half gone

Crushed but I’m strong
